Niamh graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Management. She then went on to complete her postgraduate Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.
Niamh is a familiar face to our clinic, as she originally started working for Lilyfield Physio in 2019 as part of our admin staff. Throughout her university studies, she was nurtured and supported by our team to become a competent practitioner.
She now joins us as a physiotherapist, having gained experience in Sydney metropolitan and rural health services. Working in both hospital and community settings, she enjoyed her work, which focused on falls prevention, neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation. She has also worked with University of Sydney’s rugby union Shute Shield teams and has a strong background in strength & conditioning with high performance athletes at Wenona School.
Niamh is interested in all types of sports injuries and post-operative management. She values providing patient-centered care and continuing to improve her professional development to cater to all patient needs.
When Niamh isn’t working, you’ll be able to find her in the gym or playing social sport in Oztag or netball.
"The best part about being a physiotherapist is the therapeutic relationships we build by listening, connecting and understanding what is important, so we can assist patients to get back to what they love and need to do."
