Karen Westcott
Principal Physiotherapist / B.App.Sc Phty
Karen graduated from the University of Sydney in 2006 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy. She commenced her physiotherapy career gaining experience in acute hospital settings including orthopaedics, emergency department, aged care rehabilitation and postnatal wards in several Sydney hospitals.
Developing her interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Karen then moved into private practice where she has gained a depth of experience in skeletal and spinal injuries.
Karen has been a senior physiotherapist at Lilyfield Physio since 2013. She has a wonderful insight into how people cope with pain including neck pain and headache.
Dedicated to professional development, Karen’s treatment philosophy is deeply rooted in evidence-based practice and client centred care. Karen has gone on to complete many postgraduate courses.
Karen is now highly skilled in movement analysis and bio-mechanical assessment. She is a level 2 DMA Clinical Pilates practitioner.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys an active lifestyle with her two sons, including running, Pilates and going to the gym.
