Powerful hips mean explosive performance!

In sports involving powerful movements, the hips and gluteal muscles are often the main source of force production. Throwing a Javelin or punching in Boxing are good examples, where the hips are needed to help generate power. Golf is no different except there is more of a rotational component to the force. Below are three great exercises for generating hip drive in golf:
